The story begins with a confused little guy


Stickman World takes place in an underground environment after the hero "Stickman" is surprised to awaken in an unknown world. The story emerges from the possible destruction of the human world in which Stickman recalls pieces of it but very uncertain of what really happened in his past, he searches for hints in the upper ground world.

One of the amazing things about the story is that Stickman doesn't really know where he is or why he is so light, he can't really see himself looking the way he looks but without a piece memory of how he previously saw himself, there is nothing that can't be sure to say otherwise, one thing is certain, he has no idea how he got to this place, but throughout the story he is presented with new challenges and clues which ultimately would help him find out the truth.

One of the goals for each level is to collect all the hidden letters which make up the game name, this may sound easy, however, some of these are found in very obscure places which will require you to solve tricky puzzles in order to find them.

The game art style focuses on using primitive shapes for it's artistic aspect but keeps a clean and polished game which is visually appealing and very fun to play.

Game Mechanics


Stickman World mechanics are summarized below. There're also many more mechanics not shown here that will ship in the final game. Game mechanics are also mixed up and mistakenly created during development, for example, we never realized that inverted gravity could've been combined with applying inverted forces to other game objects, or using multiple layer mechanic while the player is inverted was a cool addition to the game.

Note: We will be including some extra game mechanics in addition to the ones listed previously.

Game Controls


The goal is to have Stickman World available for iOS and subsequently other mobile platforms, therefore here's the mobile touch controls legend which may change the final look and feel.

TOUCH CONTROLS (MOBILE DEVICES)

During gameplay an overlay in shown with available controls.

DESKTOP CONTROLS (PC / MAC / LINUX)

Movement - WASD or Arrow Keys

Running - Hold Shift Key during movement

Jumping - Space Bar Key

Layer Jump - WS or Up / Down Keys
